Fantastic

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thanks. :D!!

Every single panel of this was so well done. It's just paneled well in general, there's such a excellent sense of motion to it all. I loved seeing the monster guy barreling through the city.

Foxcato responds:

Thank you Flounderman. I had so much fun drawing this comic and I think that's what shines through.

Incredible

Foxcato responds:

Glad you like it :-)

Great paneling as always, it really sells the buildup to and impact of the final clash. Also there's something I really like about that little cyclops minion with the spikes and teeth. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Foxcato responds:

Crap! I just realised that one of the pages is missing. I'll have to fix that ASAP!
But really glad you like it even with the missing page.
And as for the spikey dude, I thought it'd be fun go give you a small cameo in my comic. So there you go :-)

-EDIT-
Just added in the missing page.

I really dig the underling designs here

Foxcato responds:

Thank you! I tried my best to make them as bizarre as possible while still coming off as creatures that would actually pose a thread. I had a lot of fun with it so I'm glad you like them.

I love the last two panels they're all teeth and fire. The transition from victory party to "oh fuck" in the last two pages was damn fine in itself.

Foxcato responds:

Thank you good sir!
I spend a lot of time figuring out how to best make the transition.
So I'm glad to hear that what I came up with in the end works.

The regular monsters in the archetype are all deceptively serious and then the extra deck monsters are complete bullshit that change the basic rules of the game on a turn by turn basis and let you summon creatures from different card games.

MicroBihon responds:

Yea you could actually sacrifice "Turd of the Week" to summon Dead Ass Pikachu Dragon which summons Arin Hanson in attack position for plus 3

Literal Tier 0 deck

I really like this villain. He's expressive and has that kind of rage where he can just barely keep it in check. I love this chase sequence too!

Also would you consider adding links to the first, previous, and next pages for the comic? It would be easier to get new readers since otherwise they have to open each page from the gallery one by one to catch up.

Foxcato responds:

Thank you Flounder. I'm glad you enjoy the villains in my comic. And the fight scene too of course.
I've been wanting to add links as you mention. I just for whatever reason wasn't sure how to do it, even though it should be simple enough I guess.

-EDIT-
Links added. I'll be sure to do it from here on out. Thanks Flounder.

He only shows up for two panels but I love that fish guy (big surprise lol). This is a very solid action arc to kick the series off with by the way, and the cast is already really entertaining. Now that I'm caught up I look forward to reading the updates as they come along.

Foxcato responds:

Thanks a million Flounderman! I'm very happy you're enjoying my comic.
I'm glad you liked my fish-guy. I love drawing fish people so you can definitely expect to see more of those as the series continues :-)

the monster energy drink really completes it

Shark-E responds:

Little known side effect of Monster: if you drink enough you get a massive craving to consume infants like tasty hamburgers:P
